    POSITION SUMMARY

    The mobile therapist (MT) provides direct treatment services to children, adolescents, and families following family systems theory, social ecological theory, behavioral therapies theory, cognitive-behavioral therapy theory, etc. Approaches to treatment include individual, family, and group therapies across a variety of settings: home, school, and community. Working in a team along with a behavioral health technician (BHT), the MT is the senior team leader and provides training, support, and supervision to the BHT.

    This is a full-time position with non-traditional hours that may include evenings and weekends.

    Education/Experience

    (1) Be licensed in this Commonwealth as a psychologist, professional counselor, marriage and family therapist or clinical social worker.

    (2) Be licensed in this Commonwealth as a social worker or a behavior specialist and have a graduate degree that required a clinical or mental health direct service practicum from a college or university accredited by an provider recognized by the United States Department of Education or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or have an equivalent degree from a foreign college or university that has been evaluated by the Association of International Credential Evaluators, Inc. or the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services. The Department will accept a general equivalency report from the listed evaluator agencies to verify a foreign degree or its equivalency.

    SUMMARY

    A certified parent educator implements the PAT model, emphasizing parent-child interaction, development-centered parenting, and family well-being in their work with families.           POSITION SUMMARY
        18. The School-Based Program Mental Health Specialist provides behavioral health services within the assigned School District. These services are diverse and varied and include counseling, case management, psycho-education, and consultation. The Mental Health Specialist collaborates with school personnel, SAP team, parents and supervisor to ensure quality care. The Mental Health Specialist provides psycho-education and support to school personnel as requested, case management to identified students, and may participate in school in-services and student-related meetings as a MH representative.

          POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

          Education

          • Master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology or other social services field, OR;
          • Master's degree with at least 5 year experience and training in mental health treatment, OR;

          We have an opening for a Certified Peer Specialist who provides recovery oriented (in home or community based) services to individuals who also have a major mental health diagnosis. The employee must be a self identified individual who has received or is receiving state priority group services as defined in the MH Bulletin OMH-94-04, Serious Mental Illness: Adult Priority Group. The CPS draws on personal experience from their own recovery to assist the consumers, using personal stories and examples. This position requires that employee uses their own reliable transportation to perform job duties.

          This position may be full- or part-time.

          Individual with lived mental health recovery experience whom has mental health diagnosis and is at a point in their recovery pathway where they can positively support others in similar situations

          POSITION SUMMARY

          Dickinson is looking for a Life Sharing Program Manager who is responsible for the monitoring of the individuals, and contracted employees by performing the following duties. Meet, at a minimum, with Licensed Life Sharing providers monthly and Unlicensed Life Sharing providers every other month it ensure individuals are being cared for and their needs are being met. Ensure that contacted employees are following all local, state, and federal regulations governing the Life Sharing Program.

          Education & Experience

          • A master's degree or above and 1 year of work experience working directly with individuals with an intellectual disability or autism.
