Dickinson Center, Inc. has provided a continuum of mental health, intellectual disability and Children's Preventative service in Northwestern Pennsylvania since 1958. We are a progressive, non-profit organization with almost 200 employees and an annual operating budget of nearly $10 million.
Dickinson Center has an opening for a Behavioral Health Worker in its Community and School Based (CSBBH) program. The Behavioral Health Worker works closely with the Mental Health Professional and Behavioral Health Worker counterpart to provide direct treatment services to children, adolescents, and families.
This position is a full-time, 40-hour/week position and requires on-call and some non-traditional work hours.
QUALIFICATIONS
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Experience
- A bachelor's degree in a Human Services field with 2 years of paid experience in a clinical setting.
- in lieu of the 4-year degree requirement, may include students pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Social Work (BSW) who are in their senior year, have completed at least 30 credits in social work-required courses, and have completed short field experiences (requirements for the BSW degree) at the time of hire. The required 450-hour internship that counts for course credit may be completed during their employment a CSBBH provider.
Certifications, Licenses & Other Requirements
- Possess a current and valid driver's license issued by your state of residence and be able to operate an agency and/or personal vehicle safely during various weather patterns whether it be daytime or nighttime.
- Be at least 21 years of age and have a driving record that meets the requirements of the DCI Vehicle Fleet Policy.
- Have reliable transportation, as the job requires use of employee's personal vehicle.
