Based directly within the school(s) they serve, the Facilitator conducts assessments, including crisis, makes recommendations for appropriate services and levels of care, and provides preventative supportive counseling. Facilitators serving middle and high school aged students coordinate and present The Signs of Suicide® (SOS) Program annually. SOS is an evidence-based program designed to educate students about the warning signs and symptoms of depression and suicide. Facilitators serving elementary aged students utilize the Incredible Years curriculum to coordinate and present social and emotional wellness-based lessons within classroom settings.
