POSITION SUMMARY

The Psychiatric Rehabilitation (PR) Worker works directly with mental health consumers by assisting persons with functional disabilities resulting from mental illness to develop, enhance, and/or retain psychiatric stability, social competencies, personal adjustment, and/or independent living skills.

              SUMMARY

              POSITION SUMMARY

              The mobile therapist (MT) provides direct treatment services to children, adolescents, and families following family systems theory, social ecological theory, behavioral therapies theory, cognitive-behavioral therapy theory, etc. Approaches to treatment include individual, family, and group therapies across a variety of settings: home, school, and community. Working in a team along with a behavioral health technician (BHT), the MT is the senior team leader and provides training, support, and supervision to the BHT.

              This is a full-time position with non-traditional hours that may include evenings and weekends.

              Education/Experience

              • Master's prepared, Licensed in Social work, Counseling, Psychology or Nursing.
              • Management experience required, plus two years' experience in a CASSP systems program, OR
              • Be a licensed registered nurse with five years of experience, including two in CASSP system program plus certification by the American Nurses credentialing center (ANCC) or American academy of Nurse Practitioner (AANP).
              • Certification as a National Board Certified counselor is also acceptable.
