POSITION SUMMARY

The Adult Habilitation Center (AHC) Worker provides direct care within the AHC Program. This day program provides Community services to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) in Elk, Cameron and McKean Counties. This individual would work in our Adult Habilitation Center (AHC). Direct Care Workers in our AHC program help to provide services to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a day program setting. They provide individualized care to each consumer while encouraging independence, respecting personal preferences, and ensuring the health and welfare of our consumers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be enrolled in college
• Some experience working with IDD population is preferred
• Valid driver's license.
